Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor


Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor to support internal teams and external customers through efficient parts order processing, sourcing, and customer service. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced office and warehouse environment and enjoys working closely with service technicians, vendors, and customers.


Pay rate: $26-$28/h depending experience


Key Accountabilities: Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor

  • Process day-to-day parts orders for internal and external customers, including entering, ordering, and expediting purchase orders
  • Support service technicians by researching, sourcing, expediting, and delivering parts requests to the work area
  • Provide timely, courteous, and professional service to customers in person, by phone, or electronically; demonstrate strong service and salesmanship at the phone order desk and front counter
  • Prepare accurate, timely, and efficient estimates and documentation for all parts transactions
  • Assist warehouse personnel with tracking, shipping, and receiving products for local, out-of-town, and inter-branch locations
  • Initiate parts returns for new and warranty items and complete all required documentation
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment at all times

Required Qualifications: Parts Coordinator / Parts Advisor

Parts experience in the following; Heavy Equipment, Material Handling, Truck and Coach, Automotive. Clear communication skills.

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Relevant Trade Designation and/or enrollment in a registered apprenticeship program
  • Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience
  • Previous experience in the heavy-duty parts or service industry is considered an asset
  • Experience working with parts vendors, outsourcing, and generating parts quotes
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
