Job Description
- Environment deployment and Management Operations
- Deploy and manage Murex Software needed for Murex client projects using Murex tools and scripts
- Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the needed products
- Act as a first level support for already deployed Murex products redirecting and following the issues with the corresponding support teams
- Performing system health checks and diagnostics RAM CPU processes etc to ensure optimal performance and uptime
- Automating routine tasks
Conversion of a customer database
- Perform database sanitization and purging procedures
- Migration sequence execution and stabilization
Setting Methodologies and Procedures
- Contribute to creating the environment and configuration management methodologies conversion processes communication workflows and needed templates and documentation
- Customize and document the installation and the conversion upgrade procedures
- Deliver needed training and best practices for Clients and project teams
- Manage internal streams contribute to creating tools measure related KPIs and analyze potential issues
Requirements
Technical Skills
- Degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Technology Engineering or related discipline
- Experience with scripting languages
- Excellent problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of technical machine specifications
- Knowledge of XML manipulations
- Knowledge of UNIX Operations with hands on expertise in command line operations
- Knowledge of RDMS Operations
- Understanding of the Financial markets
