Medical Director Veterinarian – Lead with Excellence
Are you a passionate veterinarian ready to take the next step in your career? We have an exciting opportunity for a Medical Director to join our team and help shape the future of veterinary care at our Elmvale Veterinary Hospital.
As Medical Director, you'll set the standard for medical excellence, mentor a talented veterinary team, and collaborate with leadership to ensure the success of the hospital. This is more than a clinical role it's a chance to inspire, guide, and elevate the level of care we provide to our patients and clients.
What You'll Do
Lead and mentor veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional medical care
Develop and implement medical protocols and best practices
Oversee surgical and medical cases to ensure positive outcomes and client satisfaction
Collaborate with the hospital manager on operational strategies and growth initiatives
Participate in community events and foster strong client relationships
Provide hands-on veterinary care, including consultations, diagnostics, and surgeries
Promote a culture of collaboration, professionalism, and continuous learning
What You'll Need To Excel
Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent, licensed in Ontario
Strong leadership and mentoring skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Commitment to delivering the highest standard of veterinary medicine
