**Summary of Responsibilities**
**Professionalism**
- Manages assigned projects or assignments, including financial oversight.
- Supervises a team to ensure adherence to established qualitative and quantitative standards.
- Facilitates the development of junior staff through coaching, knowledge transfer, and internal training programs.
- Identifies and cultivates new business opportunities with existing clients.
**Technical**
- Oversees complex and specialized materials in the following domains:
- Audit
- Review
- Notice to Readers
- Tax
- Maintains quality control standards throughout each assignment or project.
- Takes responsibility for special assignments.
- Applies specialized knowledge to proactively anticipate, identify, and address issues pertinent to the client's business.
**Interpersonal**
- Allocates resources effectively while providing leadership to the team.
- Assumes accountability for the financial management of assignments and projects.
- Responds effectively to client inquiries and suggestions related to assignments.
**Development**
- Demonstrates a commitment to remaining informed on new developments within the profession.
- Enhances the firm's image as business consultants and articulates our brand effectively.
- Establishes productive working relationships with client contacts throughout assignments.
**Summary of Experience**
- Over five years of public accounting experience.
**Requirements**
- Holds a University degree in Accounting.
- Possesses Canadian Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation.
- Possesses a thorough understanding and experience working with the Accounting Standards for Private Enterprises (ASPE), along with knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
- Strong knowledge of tax regulations is essential.
- Experience in leading and mentoring a team.
- Exhibits excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with external clients.
- Demonstrates robust file management skills and organizational capabilities, able to manage multiple engagements concurrently.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Experienced in using accounting and tax software such as QuickBooks, Caseware, Jazz-it, TaxPrep, and Simply Accounting.
