Job Summary
As our Maintenance Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the resort's facilities and grounds are well-maintained and in excellent condition to support our guests' experiences. You will oversee a team of maintenance professionals and be responsible for the upkeep, repair, and improvement of our resort's infrastructure, equipment, and outdoor spaces.
Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee a team of maintenance technicians, electricians, plumbers, and groundskeepers
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to proactively identify and address issues
- Coordinate and oversee all maintenance, repair, and renovation projects across the resort
- Ensure the resort's facilities, equipment, and grounds meet all safety, health, and regulatory standards
- Manage maintenance budgets and procurement of necessary supplies and materials
- Collaborate with other department heads to identify and address maintenance-related needs
- Provide excellent customer service and responsiveness to guest and staff requests
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance management or leadership role, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience with building systems, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and landscaping
- Excellent project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Ability to lead and motivate a team of maintenance professionals
- Strong communication and customer service orientation
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field preferred
