Machine Operator, CNC - Milling & Cutting
Reports to
Plant Manager
Responsibilities
Machine Operator and Maintenance
· Follow work schedules, assignment, and production sequences to meet deadlines as required.
· Ensure part counts are accurate; boxes marked with the part number and count.
· Required to be able to set up and operate machinery on factory premises, as required. Univer 50 single Miter saw/Sampson double miter saw
· Inspect manufactured parts and provide technical guidance to ensure the finished part is in line with specifications and quality standards.
· Set up and operate all machines in manufacturing department as required
· Ensuring engineering drawers are accurately read and interpreted to ensure work if preformed accurately.
· Adhere to company 5S guidelines
· Escalate stock issues as needed, when effecting production
· Track and record all cut-off material and escalate as needed to ensure proper communication to Planning, Engineering and Purchasing Department.
· Provide assistance as needed with repair, modification, maintenance, improvement and troubleshooting on all plant machinery and equipment, tools and facility to ensure safe operation of equipment.
· Report and escalate any safety concerns in a timely manner
· Complete housekeeping duties to maintain the Warehouse and office space in a clean, tidy and safe condition
· Adhere to the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safety guarding and general safe working practices
· Wear proper safety equipment and follow safe working practice
Working Conditions
· Work is performed in a combination of environments
· Ability to lift or move up to 50lbs when requested
· Overtime as required
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
