WE ARE HIRING – LOGISTICS OFFICER (BULLION / JEWELRY INDUSTRY)
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Logistics Officer to manage the movement, storage, and distribution of goods. This is an office-based, full-time, permanent position. The successful candidate will ensure efficient supply chain operations, timely deliveries, and accurate inventory management while maintaining cost efficiency and high service standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor supply chain operations
- Arrange transportation, shipment, and delivery schedules
- Liaise with suppliers, freight forwarders, and customers
- Prepare shipping documents (invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, etc.)
- Track shipments and resolve delivery issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records
- Conduct regular physical inventory counts related to shipments to verify stock levels
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
- Ensure compliance with customs and regulatory requirements
- Analyze logistics performance and recommend improvements
- Control logistics costs and negotiate with service providers
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics and shipping
- Hands-on experience with FedEx and Canada Post shipping procedures
- Experience creating shipping labels, booking pickups, and tracking shipments
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping documentation
- Experience working with Malca-Amit secure logistics services
- Knowledge of customs documentation and import/export procedures
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage high-value and time-sensitive shipments
- Strong communication and negotiation abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
