We are looking for a new team member in the role of:
Livestock Cost & Inventory Analyst
*Accounting Acumen Required
This integral role handles the documentation regarding the Purchase, Sale, & Inventory Control of All Owned and Brokered Cattle.
Responsibilities:
- Administer the Documentation for the Purchase and Sale of Cattle
- Maintain and Record Inventory Movement
- Analysis and Projections for Transactions
- Maintain Processing Records
- Review, Verify and Maintain Feed Bills
- Communicate with both Customers and Vendors
- Various Administrative Duties, as required
Requirements:
- Background in Accounting
- Certificate or Diploma in an Accounting Related Field an asset
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong Understanding of Mathematical Equations with an ability to Accurately Calculate Transactions
- Customer Service Focused with Excellent Communication Skills
- Keen Eye for Detail with Strong Follow Through
- Positive and Willing Attitude with a Desire to Learn and Grow
- Self-Directed and Organized; with a Focus on Efficiency
- Ability to Manage Constantly Changing Priorities
- Experience in the Cattle Industry an Asset
- Strong Desire for Long-Term Employment
We Offer:
- $65,000 - $75,000 Annually
- Benefits Package
- Monday – Friday, 40 hours/week. Additional hours may be required during peak season.
