Looking to add a Casual Laundry Attendant for Mornings and Afternoons during the weekdays or Weekends.
Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring all linens, towels, and guest laundry are cleaned, folded, and maintained to the highest standards. Previous hotel experience is a plus, but we welcome applicants eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines efficiently to process linens, towels, and guest clothing
- Sort laundry items by color, fabric type, and cleaning requirements
- Ensure all laundry is cleaned, dried, folded, and stored properly for distribution
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area
- Follow safety procedures when handling cleaning chemicals and operating equipment
- Assist with inventory management of linens and supplies
- Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens
- Adhere to sanitation standards and hotel policies at all times
Skills
- Previous hotel or hospitality experience preferred but not required
- Knowledge of laundry procedures and cleaning techniques is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to follow safety guidelines when handling chemicals and equipment
