We are seeking a detail-oriented construction Estimator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in construction estimating and project management, with the ability to analyze project specifications and develop accurate cost estimates. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in the bidding process, ensuring that our projects are competitively priced while maintaining profitability.
Duties
Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on project plans and specifications.
Analyze blueprints, drawings, and other documentation to prepare time, cost, materials, and labor estimates.
Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to gather necessary information for estimating processes.
Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers to secure the best possible rates.
Utilize software tools such as Bluebeam and Excel for efficient estimating processes.
Build and maintain relationships with vendors and subcontractors to ensure reliable pricing and quality work.
Review and adjust estimates based on changes in project scope or design modifications.
Qualifications
Proven experience in construction estimating with a strong understanding of pricing strategies.
Familiarity with project management principles and practices.
Proficiency in using estimating software, particularly Bluebeam.
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
