FPH is looking for Journeyman Plumbers & Apprentices join our team.
Job Summary:
We are seeking skilled and experienced Journeyman and Apprentice Plumbers to Join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of plumbing/ hvac/ fire protection systems, strong leadership skills, and the ability to manage projects efficiently. A Foreman will oversee daily operations, ensure job quality, and maintain safety compliance on all projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of plumbers, apprentices, and helpers.
- Be knowledgeable in Hvac and Fire protection systems.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects from start to finish.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations.
- Inspect completed work to ensure quality and adherence to standards.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including work schedules and material usage.
- Communicate effectively with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Troubleshoot issues and provide effective solutions.
- Train and mentor apprentices and junior plumbers.
- Monitor and enforce safety procedures and protocols on job sites.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience as a Journeyman Plumber or similar leadership role.
- Valid red seal plumbing ticket.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, codes, and best practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Proficient in troubleshooting plumbing issues.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Computer skills on Microsoft, and construction management software an asset.
