We are a blended family with 8 people totaly in our home! My partner works from home full time and I'm a stay at home parent. all 5 of our kids have very unique interests, needs, and personalities. my elderly grandmother lives (independently) in the home as well and has her own space separate from where the rest of the family typically spends their time but also enjoys joining the rest of the family to spend time together and use the shared living spaces. our 17 year old is here during the week and spends weekends at her other parent's home. She incredibly responsible and fully independent and does not need childcare. our 6 and 8 year old are close and spend a lot of time together. they both attend public school and spend every other weekend away at their (each different) other parent's homes. our 3 year old is diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder and has a speech delay but is consistently making huge strides in her language.
