Insurance Account Representative - Desjardins Agent Team Member
Location: MARKHAM, ON
Type: Full Time
Desjardins Insurance is a leading Canadian insurance provider that offers a wide range of insurance products and services to individuals and businesses. Our Desjardins Insurance Agency located in Markham, Ontario is currently expanding and seeking multiple highly motivated and customer-oriented individuals to join our team as Insurance Account Representative.
Responsibility:
- Selling auto and property insurance products to individual/business clients to meet Agency targets
- Complete personalized needs assessments for client
- Provide insurance advice and solutions to clients based on their needs and ensure clients are charged premiums that correspond with risks
- Focusing on meeting the needs of the personal market through the full suite of Desjardins Insurance auto and property insurance products
- Calculate premiums and establish payment method
- Deliver and explain policy to policyholders and to analyze insurance program and suggest additions or changes, or to change beneficiaries
- Ensure that policy requirements are fulfilled, including any necessary vehicle inspection and the completion of appropriate forms
- Maintain positive relationship with both existing and new clients
Requirements:
- Self-motivated
- Compassionate
- Accountable
- OTL license (must pass the exam before starting the position)
- Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
- Basic Microsoft office skills
- Must be fluent in both English and Chinese
Compensation:
- Base salary: $50,000
- Plus Commission
- Plus Year end bonus
- Life and living benefit up to $200/month after probation
- Paid vacation
- Health Plan
