**Job Title: Instrumentation Technician**
**Job Description**
Join our dynamic Instrumentation team, focusing on the assembly of process and rotating equipment packages. Your role will involve installing and bending tubing, calibrating instruments, and performing testing and commissioning procedures on flow meters and pressure gauges. Additionally, you''ll collaborate with other trades to execute detailed Final Inspection, Package Startup, Testing, and Preservation for the units.
**Responsibilities**
Assemble process and rotating equipment packages.
Install and bend tubing for instrumentation.
Calibrate instruments and conduct testing and commissioning procedures.
Work with flow meters and pressure gauges.
Collaborate with other trades for Final Inspection, Package Startup, Testing, and Preservation.
Read and interpret P&ID layouts daily.
**Essential Skills**
Proficiency in instrumentation and tube bending.
Experience with calibration and flow meters.
Commissioning expertise.
Ability to read and interpret P&ID diagrams.
Troubleshooting and electrical knowledge.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
Experience in startup and commissioning.
Electrical troubleshooting abilities.

**Work Environment**
Located in the SE industrial area of the city, the facility specializes in compression and process piping for oil and gas applications. The position offers 7 weeks of work with potential for extension and opportunities on both day (5:50 AM-4:20 PM) and afternoon shifts (4:30 PM-2:30 AM), Monday to Thursday. Orientation includes working with a buddy and daily P&ID layouts, ensuring a comprehensive onboarding process

This is a Contract position based out of Calgary, AB.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $42.84 - $45.84/hr.
