Installation Foreman – Commercial Construction
Commercial glass and aluminum contractor serving Calgary and projects throughout Alberta is seeking an Installation Foreman to oversee field crews on commercial projects. This role is responsible for leading installation teams, ensuring quality workmanship, and maintaining a safe and efficient jobsite.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate installation crews for curtain wall, storefront, aluminum doors & hardware, and glazing systems
- Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
- Review drawings and installation instructions to ensure accuracy
- Monitor progress and report updates to Project Managers or Field Operations Lead
- Maintain jobsite organization and material usage
- Enforce safety protocols and professional conduct on site
- Assist in training and mentoring team members
Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in commercial glazing installation or similar construction trades
- Proven ability to lead field crews and maintain productivity
- Familiarity with curtain wall, storefront, and aluminum door systems is preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and safety-conscious
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38.00-$44.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Work Location: In person
