Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and other designated spaces. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hospitality. Prior experience in cleaning and/or hospitality operations would be an asset, but we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn. The Housekeeper will play a vital role in upholding the reputation of our establishment through exceptional service and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Clean and disinfect guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to established standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish supplies such as toiletries and towels
- Process laundry and ensure a continuous flow of clean, folded, and organized linens
- Vacuum, sweep, mop floors, and dust surfaces to maintain a spotless environment
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
- Ensure all cleaning tasks are completed efficiently within scheduled timeframes
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies need replenishing
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting (up to 25 pounds), and reaching
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness
- Excellent time management skills to complete assigned duties promptly
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexibility to work various shifts as needed
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17.60-$20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
