Grader Operator
Job Description
We are currently seeking a skilled Grader Operator with oilfield experience to join our team south of Grande Prairie. This is a local hire position - you will be home every day. Our clients rely on us to provide safe, reliable access to their worksites, so your work schedule will vary depending on weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate grader safely and efficiently in oilfield environments.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections on equipment.
- Work closely with customers, site supervisor and other operators to ensure job site safety and productivity.
- Adapt to changing weather conditions and shift schedules.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of oilfield experience operating grader equipment; both snowplowing and road & lease maintenance.
- Must be local to Grande Prairie or surrounding area.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
Valid certifications:
- CSO (Common Safety Orientation)
- First Aid & CPR
- H2S Alive
- Clean Class 5 Driver's License required; Class 3 or Class 1 license is preferred.
Assets (Not Required but Preferred):
- Experience operating dozers, skid steers, snowcats, and tractors.
- Versatility and willingness to assist with other equipment as needed.
