Our client in Burlington is an industry leader in manufacturing tracks, thresholds, and hardware for doors. They are looking for a Production Assembler to join their growing team! Location: Burlington, ON Wage: $18.50/hour - plus 4% vacation pay is added on top This is a Monday to Friday ongoing position, running on days. Typically an 8:00AM-4:30PM, but on Thursdays you will start an hour earlier to assist with deliver prep, and then off an hour early on Fridays - as reflected below: Monday to Wednesday 8:00am - 4:30pm Thursday 7:00am - 4:30pm Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm In this role, you will primarily support daily production operations by preparing materials, assembling components, and packaging finished goods. You'll work hands-on in a fast-paced environment where accuracy, consistency, and safe material handling are essential. Duties could include but are not limited to the following: - Kit boxes by pulling components from designated bins, assembling contents, and preparing boxes for racking or skidding. - Transfer long-length aluminum raw materials to the appropriate storage racks. - Perform repetitive lifting and handling of packaged products (up to 50lbs). - Move materials between workstations; box lengths range from 7-10ft and may weigh up to 50 lbs. - Complete component assemblies as required by production needs. - Package finished products into boxes and seal using tape, staplers, stitchers, or similar tools. - Document required information on finished goods and packaging. - Transport completed packages to skids or designated finished-goods areas.
