Job Description
The Opportunity:We are currently seeking an Electrical Engineer/ Technologist to join our Client's Consulting Firm in Sudbury, Ontario. This is a full-time position with comprehensive benefits and many other perks.
Responsibilities:
The successful individual will play a role in the design, analysis and implementation of engineering projects. You will work closely with clients, contractors and other engineering professionals to develop and execute projects.
Collaborate and communicate with other Engineers, Architechs and Clients.
Creating and modifying drawings and construction documents using CAD software.
Assisting in writing technical documents and specifications for projects.
Participating in team meetings to discuss projects progress, challenges and solutions.
Maintaining records of design modifications, testing results, and project documentation.
Perform field reviews: working with vendors, contractors and other professionals.
Assisting others in the office while working on several projects simultaneously.
Coordinating electrical requirpement with others in the office.
Requirements:
Electrical Engineering degree or diploma
Industry work experience, use of AutoCad, Revit and MS Office Suite
Proficient written and spoken skills in English and French is an asset.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work in a team environment while managing individual tasks.
Some travel to sites may be required, vehicle and driver's licence needed.
