Become a vital part of an energetic emergency veterinary team as a Veterinary Assistant. Support Animal Health Technologists and Veterinarians while providing exceptional care to pets in a fast-paced environment.In this full-time role, you'll assist with patient care and daily tasks in a 24-hour emergency facility. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, organized, and thrives in a multi-faceted position. You will provide both physical and emotional support for patients, ensuring a high standard of cleanliness and care throughout the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist with patient assessments and treatments
• Perform sample collections and imaging support
• Ensure general cleanliness of treatment areas
• Provide care and comfort to hospitalized pets
• Maintain ICU and hospital facilities
Requirements:
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Available for rotating shifts, including weekends and overnights
• Energetic and self-motivated
• Previous animal care experience preferred
