Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton, ON, for a Drone Operator. Responsibilities include operating drones (UAVs) for aerial mapping, inspections, and data collection. The role involves conducting pre-flight checks, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and working collaboratively to execute precision operations. The Drone Operator will also participate in training sessions to enhance skill proficiency and adapt to advanced drone systems.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Drone Piloting and UAV operation
Experience with drones and knowledge of drone technology
Familiarity with piloting techniques and related safety regulations
Experience in conducting training and maintaining operational standards
Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in outdoor environments
Strong understanding of data collection and mapping workflows
Certification for drone operations, such as a pilot license, is preferred
Relevant experience or education in aviation, engineering, or related fields is an asset
