We have an immediate opening for a Dock Lead at our Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island terminal.

 

Full-time Day Shifts: Monday – Friday 7:30am - Close (typically 5:30pm)

Hourly Rate: $20-$22

 

 

Job Duties entail:

  • Responsible for overseeing/addressing any safety concerns and assure compliance with all policies
  • Able to load/unload trailers (counterbalance forklift and physical labor) 
  • Ensure expectations are met to attain Reweigh & Cube goals, as well as damage reporting
  • Proper use and maintenance of warehouse equipment and workspace
  • Attend any planned meetings and respond to correspondence from management
  • Ability to work well with others and independently

What we need from you:

  • A Willingness to Work! Dependability & a Good Attitude are key
  • Reliable Transportation – must be living in the area and able to get to work
  • Previous experience operating Forklift (certification an asset)
  • Ability to use scanners, paperwork where required
  • Ability to work Safely in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to complete online safety courses as required
  • Physically demanding, heavy lifting is a requirement
  • Warehouse conditions: possible high noise levels, warm or cold environment (dependent on weather)
  • Safety boots/shoes
  • Clean criminal background
