Job Description
DIRECT SUPPORT PROFESSIONAL
Direct Support Professional (DSP) employees work with people who experience developmental disabilities as they live in their homes and communities. This position assists people in their daily life, working with them and their connections to ensure that they can live fully in the community. Direct Support Professionals recognize people's rights to direct their life, understanding that each person has unique gifts and needs, and they support people to learn skills for their own growth and development.

Requirements
- Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Police Check
- Access to reliable transportation
Preferred
- 12 Months Experience
- Developmental Services Worker, Child and Youth Worker, or post-secondary education in a related field
- Experience with working with Behaviour Support Plans and CPI techniques.
- Experience supporting people living within a Supported Independent Living model.

Permanent, part-time position, 16-34hrs weekly
Hourly Wage: $24.69 - $28.88
Includes alternate weekends
Flex hours, shifts may include days, afternoons, night shifts and minimum 2 weekends a month
