Job Description
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning for commercial real estate developments
Research markets and provide supporting investment rationale
Provide insights into financial performance, identifying trends, and recommending areas for improvement
Build and maintain financial models to evaluate business scenarios, investment opportunities, and potential risks
Perform sensitivity analysis to assess the impact of various factors on financial outcomes
Adhere to all company policies and procedures
Requirements
Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
Minimum 44 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
Available to work Monday – Friday, occasional Saturday (never Sunday)
Highly proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
A keen interest in the commercial real estate industry
Must maintain the confidentiality of documents and information across all levels of the organization
Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure
Professional and friendly demeanor
Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
Assets
Proven experience as a Financial Analyst or in a similar analytical role
Experience in banking, finance, accounting, appraisal, commercial real estate brokerage, private equity or construction
Strong proficiency in financial modeling and analysis
Advanced proficiency in spreadsheet and financial software
Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information in a clear and concise manner
Previous background in real estate
