What You’ll Accomplish With Us
- Deliver end-to-end analytical solutions, contributing to the full project lifecycle from problem framing with business partners to model deployment and adoption.
- Explore, prepare, and validate data rigorously, including feature engineering, model testing, and post‑deployment monitoring.
- Apply rigorous, explainable methods appropriate to a regulated industry environment.
- Work directly with business partners to proactively surface opportunities where data science can create measurable business value.
- Coach junior team members and contribute to raising the technical level of the team.
- Stay current on AI and data science trends through self‑directed learning.
- Collaborate with data engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure proper integration and maintenance of solutions.
What Could Accelerate Your Success In This Role
- Possesses insurance or financial services knowledge, ideally in risk, pricing, claims, or underwriting environments.
- Demonstrates proven end‑to‑end delivery from problem framing to deployment.
- Is proficient in Python or R and SQL.
- Has exposure to GenAI, NLP, or modern machine learning frameworks (asset).
- Brings 5+ years of experience in data science, actuarial science, or a related domain.
