Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently following established recipes and safety standards
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions accurately
• Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas including dining spaces, kitchen stations, and food handling zones
• Assist with bussing tables, clearing dishes, and ensuring the dining area remains inviting
• Handle cash transactions with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations
• Follow food safety protocols to ensure proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick-service restaurants is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha or Micros is a plus but training will be provided
• Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations
• Experience in customer service roles that involve serving or cashiering enhances your ability to connect with guests effectively
• Knowledge of food safety standards and sanitation procedures is advantageous but can be learned on the job
• Culinary or kitchen experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
