Responsibilities:
• Prepare documentation related to the formation of corporations, partnerships, and not-for-profit entities, including incorporations, name searches, organizations, amendments, continuances, amalgamations, and dissolutions.
• Draft annual resolutions, notices, and ancillary documents in connection with ongoing corporate maintenance requirements.
• Process Canada-wide extra-provincial registrations and licenses.
• Maintain and update corporate records and virtual minute books.
• Support entity management through various lifecycle events.
• Participate in special projects and provide administrative corporate support as required.
What you will need to succeed:
• DCS/DEC in Paralegal Technology or equivalent post-secondary diploma in Paralegal Studies.
• 3 years of experience as a paralegal in corporate law.
• Bilingual in English and French to draft corporate documentation, communicate with clients and lawyers, and manage regulatory filings across Canada in both languages.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate professionally with clients, lawyers, and team members.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to exercise tact, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to multitask and work effectively in a team environment.
• Meticulous attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Word, and Excel.
