Construction Manager requires a true leader with experience and a vast skillset who is able to interpret drawings and guide a team through all steps of swimming pool and landscape installations. We are looking for someone professional, accountable and reliable

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Construction Manager will perform the following duties in a professional and safe manner:

• Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of construction workers across multiple trades, including bricklaying, roofing, cement finishing, tilesetting, plastering, drywall installation, glazing, insulating, painting, and installation/servicing of prefabricated products in residential and commercial construction.
• Establish work methods to meet project schedules and coordinate activities with subcontractors. Resolve work-related issues and recommend measures to improve productivity and quality.
• Requisition materials, tools, and supplies for job sites.
• Train workers in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Recommend personnel actions such as hiring, promotions, and workforce adjustments. Prepare daily records, work progress reports, and documentation.
• Manage and oversee company operations directly related to construction job site functions, when required.
• Supervise and coordinate apprentices, helpers, and general labourers.
• Ensure projects are completed on schedule and in compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Provide input into project planning, sequencing, and workflow optimization.
• Participate in weekly safety meetings and ensure compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations.

Skills and Employment Requirements

• Education: Completion of secondary school is required. Postsecondary education in construction management or a related field is considered an asset.
• Experience: Minimum 10+ years of hands-on experience in a construction trade, with demonstrated supervisory or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, tools, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings, schedules, and work plans.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
