Job Description
Become an integral part of home care as a Companion, delivering personal support and companionship. Engage with clients, help with household tasks, and promote comfort in their living space.In this role, you will assist medically stable individuals by providing companionship and performing essential household duties. Reporting to a Home Support Supervisor, you will offer respite for primary caregivers while being attentive to clients' needs and abilities. Your presence will make a meaningful difference in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide companionship and assist with household tasks
• Perform meal preparation and light housekeeping duties
• Offer respite to caregivers during their absence
• Monitor patients' interests and special needs
• Travel between clients’ residences within the assigned area
Requirements:
• Compassionate individual passionate about helping others
• Courteous interaction with clients and families
• Ability to speak multiple languages is an asset
• Valid Vulnerable Sector Police Check required
• Recent TB Test and updated immunization records
