CNC Operator – Afternoon Shift
Oakville, ON
$27/hour
Afternoons: 2:00pm – 12:00am, Monday to Thursday (Training on Day Shift)

We’re looking for a skilled CNC Operator to join a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment in Oakville. Our team produces high-quality metal components and subassemblies across multiple departments, including metal cutting, forming, machining, welding, assembly, and paint.

What You’ll Be Doing
Setting up and operating HAAS 1600 CNC Horizontal Milling machines
Setting up tooling according to work instructions
Working with CNC programs and G/M codes
Using precise measuring equipment to maintain tight tolerances (within .001”)
Reading and interpreting work orders, work instructions, and technical drawings
Working with heavy gauge steel and large parts (½ inch and above)
Performing daily maintenance checks on machines and lifting devices
Operating in a fast-paced environment and managing more than one machine when needed
Following all health & safety standards and maintaining a clean, organized workspace
What You’ll Bring
College or technical trade school graduate preferred
2–3+ years’ experience setting up and operating CNC milling machines (company willing to train strong candidates)
Good math and mechanical drawing skills
Experience with forklifts, jib/overhead cranes an asset
Physically capable of lifting and carrying 5–23 kg regularly
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
