Salary: $40,402– $50,000 base (depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday to Friday

At our full-service Desjardins agency in Mississauga, we build lifelong relationships with clients through trusted advice and exceptional service. As a Client Relations Representative, you'll guide clients through key life events—like buying a car or home—by preparing quotes, issuing contracts, and recommending personalized coverage.

You'll also manage renewals, follow up on files, and ensure contracts are accurate. At our Desjardins Agency, we prioritize human-centered service and making lifelong memories with our clients and our team.

Responsibilities

• Establish personalized contact with clients via phone, in-person, and digital channels.
• Create a climate of trust conducive to the sale of home, auto, and commercial insurance policies.
• Educate and advise clients on Desjardins products while adhering to underwriting policies.
• Seize sales opportunities through solicitation and product offers.
• Use a customer-focused, needs-based review process to recommend insurance options.
• Collaborate with the agent to establish and meet marketing goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up communications.
• Contribute to a fun, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• OTL or RIBO license (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Tech-savvy with a strong understanding of social media and digital tools (asset).
• Motivated, detail-oriented, and a team player.
• Leadership potential and ability to motivate others.

Important Note

You will be hired to work at The Personal Insurance Company ("The Personal") for a period of up to 90 days to allow you to complete training and licensing. If training and licensing are successfully completed, you will be considered for employment with an independent contractor Desjardins Agent.
