You will sign a contract as un independent driver .

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight and goods to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining excellent communication with clients and team members. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to handle freight efficiently. The Driver will play a crucial role in supporting our logistics operations and maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Duties

• Operate commercial vehicles to transport freight, goods, or equipment to designated locations.
• Ensure all deliveries are completed accurately and on schedule.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles, including checking mechanical components and safety features.
• Load and unload cargo safely, ensuring proper handling and securing of freight.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and team members regarding delivery status or issues.
• Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies during transportation activities.
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance or report any mechanical issues promptly.

Skills

• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle inspections and troubleshoot minor issues.
• Experience with moving freight efficiently and safely within various environments.
• Valid commercial driver's l
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and clients effectively.
• Ability to handle freight securely and responsibly during transit and loading/unloading processes.

Pay: $17.75-$36.07 per hour
