Position: Cardiology Technician
Status: Full Time.
Site: Apex Cardiovascular Services, Peterborough, Ontario.
Start Date: Immediately
ualifications
Candidates must be a registered Cardiovascular Technician with a membership in good standing with Canadian Society of Cardiology Technologists (CSCT)
At least one year Canadian experience as a professional Cardiac Technician.
Experience with independent Stress Testing, Holter Monitor hook-up, and Holter analysis required.
Experience with Dobutamine Stress tests, Nuclear Persantine Stress tests, and angio-catheter IV insertion, preferred.
Current BCLS CPR certification is required.
Critical thinking skills and ability to work independently, and/or as part of the inter-professional team, in a fast paced environment.
Proven computer literacy for preliminary reporting, and navigating an EMR
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking, and problem solving abilities
Demonstrates commitment to professional development
Demonstrates good attendance and performance record with the ability to maintain the same standard.
Proof of current police criminal record check
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $26.00-$30.00 per hour
Work Location: In person
