Steele GMC Buick is seeking a General Manager with the capability to handle what work throws your way! Compensation



  • Expected earnings: $150,000 ? $200,000+ annually, including a competitive base salary, performance-based bonus, demo vehicle, and comprehensive benefits.

  • Relocation Assistance Available.


Role



  • Overall performance, culture, and strategic direction of the dealership.

  • Customer Experience: Ensure every interaction reflects the premium experience, strength of character, and elevated expectations synonymous with the Steele Auto Group and the GMC brand.

  • Employee Experience: Lead, coach, and support department leaders, building accountable, high-performing teams rooted in professionalism and respect.

  • Dealership Leadership: Oversee Sales, F&I, Service, and Parts operations, ensuring alignment with GMC brand standards and Steele Auto Group expectations.

  • Financial & Operational Performance: Manage budgets, financial results, KPIs, and expense controls while driving profitability and long-term stability.

  • Sales & Marketing: Guide inventory strategy, sales execution, and marketing initiatives to strengthen market share and brand presence.

  • Market Growth: Analyze local market trends, identify growth opportunities, and implement strategies to elevate dealership performance.

  • Strategic Execution: Implement Steele Auto Group policies, procedures, and initiatives while maintaining compliance and operational excellence.

  • People & Culture: Partner with HR on recruitment, performance management, compliance, and employee engagement, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace.


Qualifications



  • Minimum 5 years of dealership leadership experience.

  • Strong financial and operational acumen.

  • Confident decision-making, sound judgment, and strategic thinking.

  • Customer-first mindset with a genuine appreciation for premium experiences.

  • Ability to lead in a high-accountability environment while maintaining a long-term view.

  • Clear, professional communication and strong organizational skills.
