JOB DESCRIPTION
We are seeking a Software Developer to join the Group IT team at a leading insurance company. This person will be supporting the development of a brand‑new dashboard that is replacing the existing web application with a Progressive Web App (PWA). This role is backend‑focused, working primarily with C# and .NET, with some exposure to React on the frontend. The developer will support business‑critical functionality and play a key role in the modernization of the application platform.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using C# and .NET
- Support the build and enhancement of a new dashboard replacing the current Equitable Health web application
- Contribute to the transition from a traditional web application to a Progressive Web App (PWA)
- Participate in daily stand‑ups and work in a heads‑down development environment
- Develop and maintain core business functionality, including Beneficiary forms and Overaged student forms
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 3+ years as a C#/.Net Developer
- API development experience
- MySQL Server
- React experience
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Azure DevOps Experience
- Group Insurance/Insurance/Financial Services
