About the Role
Oneroot Inc. is a family-owned Canadian food manufacturer specializing in premium honey products.
We sell through multiple channels including Amazon, Shopify, retail partners, and international export
markets such as the USA, Japan, and China. We are seeking a highly organized and dependable
Business Operations Coordinator to oversee day-to-day office and operational activities. This is a
hands-on, cross-functional role involving operations, fulfillment, inventory, customer service, accounting
support, and business coordination. This role offers full exposure to how a growing food manufacturing
business operates and has the potential to grow into a General Manager role.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily office and warehouse operations to ensure smooth workflows.
- Ensure online orders and freight shipments (parcel, LTL, FTL, containers) are fulfilled accurately and on time.
- Coordinate order processing, shipping documentation, and operational paperwork.
- Manage inventory and sales orders using CIN7.
- Provide professional and friendly customer service via Gorgias, email, phone, and in person.
- Communicate effectively with customers, suppliers, logistics partners, and service providers.
- Support Amazon, Shopify, retail, and export sales channels.
- Assist with online marketing initiatives (Google, Meta, Amazon advertising).
- Handle bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks Online (QBO), including transaction recording and reconciliations.
- Support month-end and year-end preparation.
- Identify process improvements and support business growth initiatives.
- Participate in occasional business travel as required.
- Basic understanding of accounting or bookkeeping.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Clear and professional communication skills.
- Friendly, customer-focused attitude.
- Willingness to wear many hats in a small company environment.
- Diploma or degree in Business, Accounting, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is an asset.
- Experience with CIN7, Gorgias, Amazon, or Shopify is an asset.
- Proficiency in Korean, Mandarin, Cantonese, and/or Japanese is a strong asset.
- Valid Ontario G driver’s license is an asset.
- 35–40 hours per week.
