What You'll Do
As an Auto Claims Advisor, you will represent TD Insurance and assist in facilitating a claim from start to finish. You will make an impact by growing your skills within our culture of care and perform a range of responsibilities, which may include the following accountabilities:
- Make an impact: Support customer claims from start to finish; arrange towing, set up appraisals, and outline policy coverage to the customer.
- Gather, organize and verify required information and documentation to ensure a thorough and complete facts compilation for claims.
- Reconcile estimates from new and preferred vendors to reach appropriate settlements for damages.
- Contribute to team productivity by maintaining a positive file count and open/close ratio.
- Collaborate with internal partners, external vendors (e.g., Enterprise, TD Auto Centre partners, direct repair networks, and non-preferred shops).
- Experience Growth
- Research coverage scenarios and apply knowledge to customer claim files.
- Learn and demonstrate customer-centric and TD Insurance Group objectives while contributing to deliverables.

- Communicate clear claims processing requirements to customers, maintain detailed claims notes, and provide timely progress updates and responses to inquiries.

Job Requirements
What You Need to Succeed

- You must hold a claims adjuster license issued by the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
- Proven experience in automobile claims adjusting is required.
- Excellent customer service skills; dedicated to meeting or exceeding expectations of internal and external clients.
- Superior time management skills; thrives in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Proven ability to negotiate positive outcomes when reasonably possible.
- Demonstrated clear and professional written and verbal communication; strong active listening skills.
- Strong ability to conduct thorough investigations, analyze evidence, and identify discrepancies or gaps in data and reports.
- Demonstrated support for process improvements.
