The bartender provides guests with a quality lounge experience by greeting guests in a friendly manner, telling them about daily specials, and creating a memorable guest experience. The bartender serves guests with all food and beverage requirements in a pleasant, courteous, and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provides personalized service to all guests
- Takes drink orders from customers
- Responsible for knowing prices of menu items
- Performs wait and service standards in a timely manner
- Serves drinks such as wine and beer
- Mixed drinks and cocktails according to recipes
- Checks identification of customers to ensure that they are of legal drinking age
- Cleans bar, tables, and work areas
- Operate POS system, cash handling, and debit/credit transactions
- Manages bar operation, order, maintain liquor and bar supplies
- Provide food service
- Follow food safety standards
REQUIREMENTS
- Reliable Transportation to Whitecap required
- High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
- Smart Serve required to start
- A minimum of 2 years of experience working as a bartender
- Flexible schedule
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
- Must be able to multi- task and prioritize tasks when needed in a fast-paced environment
- Possess basic math, reading, and writing skills
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs
- Must be willing to work in Whitecap, Saskatchewan
Visa Requirements: Must be legally authorized to work in Canada. Dakota Dunes Resort is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
