Job Description
Summary:
EnVision Manufacturing & Supply Ltd. is seeking a full-time B-Pressure Vessel Welder to join our team This is a shop position, Monday to Friday, no evenings or weekends required. Our company is committed to a work life balance approach.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Weld pressure equipment (pressure vessels and piping, occasionally some structural) in accordance with the respective ASME codes, WPS, and QC Manual
- Read and follow fabrication drawings
- Inform Project Manager and/or QC Manager or any issues or concerns with material, quality, print discrepancy, etc.
- Previous Pressure Vessel experience would be an asset
Qualifications and Skills:
- Working knowledge of fabrication, manufacturing, and construction
- Proficient knowledge of industry best practices
- Proven ability to produce high quality work while facing competing priorities and strict deadlines
- Ability to prioritize activities, adapt to change, and stay focused in a dynamic environment.
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to communicate thoughts and ideas clearly, directly, honestly, and with respect for others
Education and Training:
- Journeyman Welder Certificate
- B-Pressure Welder Ticket
- Ability to weld any of the following processes: SMAW, GMAW, and FCAW
Salary and Benefits:
- Permanent, full-time, minimum 40 hours/week, Monday to Friday
- Typical work week: 10 hours/day, 40 hours regular pay and 10 hours overtime pay
- Salary: Range $85k to $110k (dependent upon experience)
