We are looking for an experienced RN to join Sienna Senior Living at Silverthorn Long Term Community – Mississauga. This leadership role involves guiding a clinical team while providing compassionate care to residents.
Location & Pay

Pay: $69,954 – $87,442 annually

What You’ll Be Doing
As an Associate Director of Care, you will oversee clinical operations, lead staff, and ensure regulatory compliance to enhance resident health, safety and well‑being.
Clinical Management
- Provide clinical leadership and guidance to nursing staff for safe, effective, person‑centered care
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Monitor and evaluate care quality, identify improvement areas, and implement evidence‑based practices
Team Member Supervision and Development
- Train, supervise and evaluate nursing professionals (RN, RPN/LPN, PSW/HCA)
- Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, communication and professional growth
- Provide ongoing education on clinical best practices, regulatory requirements and resident‑centered approaches
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Ontario long‑term care legislation and standards
- Maintain accurate documentation relating to resident care, medication administration and incident reporting
- Coordinate and participate in regulatory inspections, audits and surveys, addressing deficiencies and implementing corrective actions
Quality Assurance and Continuous Improvement
- Implement QA measures to monitor care and services quality
- Conduct regular reviews of clinical policies and procedures for best practice alignment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify opportunities for quality improvement
Interdisciplinary Collaboration
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers and dietary staff to coordinate holistic care
- Participate in care planning meetings, case conferences and family meetings to discuss resident needs and preferences
Who You Are
- Compassionate and dedicated to meaningful work supporting seniors
- Holder of a Bachelor of Nursing Science or equivalent post‑diploma education
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses
- Minimum 1 year experience in Long Term Care nursing
- Minimum 2–3 years experience as a Registered Nurse in a managerial or supervisory capacity
