What You'll Do
As an Aquatic Shift Supervisor, you'll be the go‑to leader on deck You'll:
Lead, mentor, and support our lifeguards and instructors
Keep our pool environment safe, clean, and welcoming
Make sure water quality is on point (yes, you'll be the pool‑chem wizard)
Open and close the facility
Support swim lessons and guard rotations
Address patron questions with positivity and professionalism
Help create a fun, safe, community-centered space for everyone
It's leadership, teamwork, sun, and smiles all rolled into one summer job.
What You Bring
You're someone who thrives in leadership roles and loves working with people. You also have:
National Lifeguard - Pool
Intermediate First Aid with CPR "C" + AED
Lifesaving Swim Instructor
Minimum Grade 12 combined with 2 or more years of experience in an aquatic setting
Minimum age: 18
Strong communication, teamwork, and decision‑making skills
The ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
Physical ability to perform rescues and complete mechanical/chemical tasks
Bonus points:
Pool Operators Level 1
Lifesaving Instructor
Mentorship experience

May-September (weather dependent)

The hours of work range from part-time to full-time, with the possibility of on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency call-outs.
The hourly wage range is $26.74 / hour to $29.97 / hour.
