As an Appliance Repair Technician, you are a key member of our team responsible for the quality and efficient installation, maintenance, and repair of appliances. You also develop new customers by identifying opportunities to provide additional services that add value to our customers. Exemplifying our code of values, you show respect and courtesy to all customers and employees.

This position is right for you if you are self-motivated, have a knack for troubleshooting, are able to manage time to effectively meet deadlines and have the ability to communicate effectively with peers, supervisors and customers. Experience in sales is a plus.

Specific Responsibilities

· Install home appliances/equipment

· Accurately diagnose, provide cost estimates for repairs/installations, repair appliances/equipment either at customer's home or at our service facility, and collect payment and/or payment information from customers for work performed

· Ensure the efficient use of materials and keep company vehicle and equipment properly serviced

· Complete invoices, daily route sheets, and weekly reports as required

· Perform other duties as needed which may include cross-training in related positions

Job Requirements

· High school graduate or equivalent

· Certified appliance technician or relevant knowledge in field.

· Experienced on Electronics and electrical

· Valid Driver's License with clean record

· Must be at least 18 years of age

· Legally entitle to work in Canada.

· Proficiency to navigate tablet-based technology

· Must be presentable and project a professional image

· The ability to safely lift up to 50 pounds on a repetitive basis

· Valid Driver's License with clean driving abstract

· Excellent verbal communication skills, friendly, self-motivated a positive outlook

· Must be able to work from 8AM to 5PM – Monday to Friday at a minimum

Note: We provide training for the right candidates, below is a list of desired competencies.

Desirable Qualifications for this position (strong asset but not mandatory):

· Gas Technician License

· Refrigeration License

· HVAC experience

· CFC Recovery

· Plumbing experience

· Previous experience servicing appliances of different makes.

· Ability to read schematics drawings and diagnose faults.

· Trace electrical circuits and use circuit testers
