Job Description
MasterTech is on the search for a Lead Tech/Shop Foreman in the Vaughan, ON area.The successful Shop Foreman will need to be licensed 310T or 421A Journeyman with experience running a team of Diesel Techs. The Shop Foreman will oversee all maintenance and repair activity for a large fleet of diesel trucks and heavy equipment.
Compensation:
- Salary is negotiable based on experience, around $100K - $150K+/year.
- Excellent benefits plan including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, etc.
- Vacation and sick days are offered and negotiable.
- RRSP match.
Shift:
- Day shift, Monday to Friday.
- 6AM - 7AM start time typically.
Key Qualifications:
- valid 310T license is required.
- Experience in a leadership role.
- Proficient with diagnostic software (Cummins InSite, JPro, Tech Tool, Detroit Diagnostic Link, etc.)
- Excellent understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Engine and transmission repair experience.
- Experience working on construction and paving equipment is preferred.
- Trailer repair experience is preferred.
- Capable welder fabricator.
- Valid driver's license.
- Full set of tools.
